Lizzie pereira samadi
Lizzie is a multi-hyphenate in the wellness space and, together with her husband, Reza, is the co-owner of One Life Yoga and The Salt Studio in Pasadena, CA. She brings over a decade of experience in studio leadership and a unique blend of movement education including anatomy, the Five Elements, and working with Pre/Post-Natal bodies.
At the heart of Lizzie’s teaching is a deep curiosity about the relationship between the physical and energetic body. Her work is rooted in the Five Elements, which serve as a through-line in both her teachings and her life and offer a powerful framework for exploring our connection to nature, the seasons, and our own ever-changing inner rhythms.
Forever fascinated by the intelligence and magic of the human body, Lizzie brings thoughtful anatomical sequencing and an embodied approach to her classes. Her teachings invite students to move beyond simply doing the practice and into experiencing, understanding, and integrating it — cultivating greater awareness both on and off the mat.
Lizzie is certified in Elemental Tantra Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, and Pre/Post-Natal Yoga, with advanced studies in anatomy and biomechanics, mantra, and holistic nutrition. She is also currently pursuing her 300-HR Yoga Teacher Training in Yoga Therapeutics at Soma Institute.
At the core of her work is a deep love and commitment to her local community and in addition to her weekly classes, she hosts community events, workshops, and retreats. When she’s not on the mat, you can find Lizzie around the studio with her daughter, Leila, in tow.
What our students say:
“My new favorite instructor! Lizzie’s flow was strong but accessible, well-paced, and thoughtfully sequenced. Clear cues, great energy, and really well taught. Loved it.”
“Lizzie is phenomenal! Brings such great energy to class. Really helped with some tightness I was experiencing and just feeling so much centered afterwards. Def recommend.”
Stacy neyland
Stacy fell in love with yoga in 2004, first for the physical benefits, then as a lifelong spiritual practice. With E-RYT 500 certification, experience in Vinyasa, Yin & Yoga Sculpt, and a passion for creative sequencing, she brings depth and energy to every class.
When she’s not teaching, she’s curating playlists, cooking with her husband, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her fur babies.
What our students say:
“Exactly what I was hoping for, and exactly what I needed.”
“Stacy was incredible! Such a fun class.”
“Great class good music ! And the instructor does a great job I’ll be back 🤍”
Reza samadi
Reza found yoga as a way to balance the stresses of his corporate life. As a self-confessed beginner, he was inspired to create One Life Yoga as a place for everybody and every body - an urban yoga center inspired by life and the world we live in.
For Reza, yoga is less about where you want to go (the destination), and more about the process - the frequency and consistency of the physical practice.
Reza trained with Ganga White and Tracey Rich at White Lotus Yoga Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA, and continues to build his Yoga practice with the study of Thai Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness Meditation, Tibetan and Zen Buddhism and Taoist Philosophy.
Whether as a newcomer to yoga or a seasoned yogi, his classes are intended to challenge your pre-conceived notions of what is possible, and provide a new benchmark in physical ability that you can achieve today and from now on.
What our students say:
“This class was a breath of fresh air. The 75-minute format gave us the space to slow down, explore poses in depth, and really challenge ourselves. I appreciated the focus on breathwork, and the community seemed to be here more for the yoga than the yoga esthetic.”
“Awesome class and space to hold yourself accountable to a mindful meditation practice. I enjoyed the structure of this class bc it reminded me I don’t always need sound baths or a guided voice telling me how to meditate. me and my breath are enough & I can access that anytime.”
ARletta Anderson
Arletta Anderson is a yoga instructor, dancer, and performance maker. She came into yoga through her dance training and quickly realized that the practice offered so much more than physical cross-training. Her deepening practice led her to teaching, which she has been doing for more than 10 years. Her classes involve intelligent alignment and sequencing along with influences from her years of dance training, functional movement, and an endless curiosity about the moving body.
What our students say:
“Please go if you want a life changing experience - heart and mind opening experience.”
“Finally back to the mat and Arletta’s class felt AMAZING! Truly appreciate her sensitivity to varying levels of practice and her approach to creating a thoughtful flow for class.”
